A Wild Life in the Flathead Valley Art Exhibition

The En Plein Air art exhibition of the iconic Flathead River Valley includes 15 paintings from six world-renowned Kootenay based artists. The paintings are from a 2012 expedition in to the Flathead River Basin where artists hiked in to remote areas of the proposed National Park in the Flathead valley to capture the feel of the last remaining undeveloped river system on the 49th parallel.

Come join Sierra Club BC, The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society and the Flathead Wild team for the Victoria exhibition launch and a presentation on biodiversity discoveries in BC's Flathead River Valley and the campaign for a National Park and Wildlife Management Area in the Southern Rockies by Dr. Peter Wood, Director of Terrestrial Campaigns at the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society.
