Porteau Cove BioBlitz
Join us for an afternoon at Porteau Cove Provincial Park to uncover the biodiversity that lives there. We will focus on the intertidal species but will keep a lookout on the water and in the trees as well. The data we gather will be submitted to the Georgia Strait Alliance as well as the British Columbia Conservation Data Base. It is importance to discover the biodiversity there because it reveals the importance of parks and protecting that area. Bring water and a lunch. Hot drinks will be provided.
Date: Sunday, October 20, 10am-2pm.
Location: Porteau Cove Provincial Park. In the main parking lot, drive over the train tracks and look for the CPAWS tent. Parking free.
