World Community World Festival
The World Community Film Festival is BC’s largest social justice film fest. It features over 35 social justice and environmental documentaries that go to the heart of issues confronting communities here and around the world. The focus of the festival is to motivate audiences to action through awareness of issues both local and global.
Check out the great lineup for the 11th annual World Community Film Festival, which runs February 10-12 at Langara College. The terrific opening night film Just Do It is a Vancouver premiere and is preceded by a talk from 5-7 pm by Richard Heinberg , one of world’s foremost peak oil educators. The Saturday night feature, Louder Than a Bomb , is an award-winning look at a high school slam poetry competition.
