Presentation on the economic benefits of protected areas


On October 1st Chloe O'Loughlin, CPAWS-BC's Director of Terrestrial Conservation, presented to the Province of British Columbia's Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services on the economic benefits of protected areas.  The presentation emphasized how creating and building support for BC’s economic growth can occur by investing in our provincial parks and working with the Government of Canada to establish national parks and marine conservation areas in B.C.
