Ecosystems

The term ecosystem refers to the combined physical and biological components of an environment. Living things include everything from plants and animals to bacteria and fungi – from the largest whale to the smallest microscopic organism–form complex and intertwined relationships as they interact with their physical environment and function as a unit.
