We have heard this message clearly from the Kaska Nation: Dene K’éh Kusān welcomes hikers, campers, anglers and all outdoor enthusiasts. Their stewardship plan ensures this spectacular landscape stays accessible and healthy for everyone in BC for generations to come.

Economy + Conservation Working Together
Protected areas aren’t just good for wildlife—they’re good for our economy. In 2023, outdoor recreation contributed $4.8 billion to the economy. Kaska’s balanced approach creates certainty for industry and supports economic development. Premier Eby has said repeatedly that reconciliation, conservation, and economy can work together. Dene K’éh Kusān is his chance to prove it.
